In this third and final section of the Northern Ireland course we look at the long and difficult search for a political solution to Northern Ireland's problems. We investigate the Sunningdale Power Sharing agreement and how it was eventually brought down by hard line unionist elements. We also look at the impact of the Hunger Strikes and the effects they had on Northern Ireland. Finally we look at the Anglo Irish agreement of 1985- What was involved and what were its results.
